A trusted companion at home — and a reassuring presence for the family.
myBuddy supports independence, gently watches over safety, and keeps families connected — without feeling like a monitor or a machine.
Whether you are thinking about your own daily routine or the wellbeing of a parent living alone, myBuddy is designed to help — through conversation, proactive reminders, and a calm presence that learns the rhythms of the home.
No panic buttons. No complicated apps. Just a warm companion that listens, remembers, and acts — and keeps the family in the loop only in the ways they choose.
How myBuddy helps, day by day
These are illustrative scenarios — real situations that myBuddy is designed to handle. They are not fabricated testimonials. Every family and every home is different; these give you a sense of what life with myBuddy can feel like.
Medication reminders that actually get confirmed.
myBuddy reminds Grandpa Klaus at 8am to take his blood pressure medication, waits for a verbal confirmation, and gently follows up if he forgets — with an optional summary sent to his daughter.

"myBuddy, where are my glasses?"
myBuddy remembers where objects were last seen around the home and can guide an elderly user straight to them, reducing frustration and fall risk from searching.

Daily companionship, not just monitoring.
A short, genuine conversation each morning — about the weather, the news, or yesterday's visit from the grandchildren — helps reduce the isolation many seniors living alone experience.

Fall detection with a fast, human response.
If myBuddy detects a fall or an unusual, prolonged period of inactivity, it can alert a family member or caregiver immediately.

Care features built for real daily life
Every care feature in myBuddy is designed to support independence and give families peace of mind — without turning the home into a monitoring station. Here is what myBuddy can do.
Medication reminders with verbal confirmation
myBuddy reminds at the set time, listens for a verbal "I've taken it," and gently follows up if there's no response — then sends an optional summary to the family.
Fall detection alerts to family
If myBuddy detects a fall or a prolonged period of inactivity, it can immediately alert a designated family member or caregiver — no panic button required.
Activity monitoring and daily wellness summaries
Family members can opt in to a daily digest — when their loved one was up and about, whether they ate, whether they made calls — as an alternative to raw camera access.
Safety and inactivity checks
If myBuddy notices unusual stillness — no movement in a room for longer than expected — it can navigate to check in and alert the family if something seems wrong.
Opt-in remote camera feed
Family can request a live view only with the user's explicit opt-in. Privacy is always in the resident's hands — the feed is never on by default.
One-spoken-command video calls
"myBuddy, call my daughter" — no fumbling with a phone or tablet. myBuddy initiates the video call at a spoken request, keeping family connected without friction.
v2 additionally: with robotic arms, myBuddy can fetch a water bottle, retrieve dropped items, or open a door for someone with limited mobility. (v2 — in R&D, coming soon.)
Your home. Your data. Your choice.
myBuddy is not a medical device. It does not diagnose conditions, prescribe treatments, or replace medical care. It is a home companion designed to support daily life and give families peace of mind.
Family monitoring is always opt-in. Wellness summaries, camera feeds, and activity alerts are turned off by default. Every feature is switched on only by the person living with myBuddy — not the family, not the manufacturer.
Data can stay in your home. On-device compute tiers (Phone-only, Jetson-only, Phone + Jetson) process all AI entirely on the robot or your phone — nothing is sent to the cloud unless you actively choose a cloud tier. See the full options on our Pricing page.
A wellness summary. Not a surveillance feed.
There is a big difference between knowing your mum is doing well today and watching her every move. myBuddy is designed around that difference.
Instead of a raw camera feed, myBuddy can send a family member a simple daily digest: when their loved one was up and about, whether they had lunch, whether they made a video call. Concrete, reassuring — and private.
The daily digest is opt-in for both the resident and the family. The resident always controls what is shared, and the camera is never live by default. This is peace of mind that respects dignity.
What a wellness summary can include (all opt-in):
- Activity levels — up and about, active around the home
- Meal cues — fridge opened, kitchen activity
- Social connection — video calls made, messages exchanged
- Sleep patterns — estimated rest times (non-clinical)
- Notable events — myBuddy checked in, gentle reminder sent
